Cleaning Equipment

Cleaning the tips and wands after every single client, in an autoclave is best if you do not have this you can place the used equipment into a bowl of disinfecting solution follow the manufactures instructions on how long to soak them for. Prior to soaking you will need to put gloves on and use a toothbrush and detergent to scrub any skin off them once you have finished this you will need to place the toothbrush to soak also to make sure it stays clean. They must be thoroughly rinsed and dried before using them on another client, this will insure there is no cross contamination.

You might not need to change the filter after every single client but you should check it to see if it needs to be changed.

The suction tube, you remove the tube from the machine, The tube should be cleaned weekly (if using daily) you do this by squirting a little bit of detergent into the tube and wash it out thoroughly. Unscrew the silver connector on the side of the machine the filter is located in here.
