Contra-action is when a reaction occurs either during or immediately after treatment. This can range from reddening of skin to allergic reaction.

• Erythema- is redness of the skin or mucous membranes, caused by hyperemia (increased blood flow). This is a normal reaction.

• Lines showing – This can be from using to much pressure when using the wand.

• Bleeding – Can be caused from going over acne.

If the skin is inflamed and becomes painful remove all products apply cold compress and tell your client if it continues to seek medical advice.
